Today is Thursday the 26th of July. Life has been so good and yet crazy all at the same time. A lot has happened since my last post.

I am engaged!!!

Yes, I am engaged! I met my beautiful fiancé at my local church in the small group ministry. Her name is Christina and I am so blessed to have met her and that we get to spend the rest of our lives together. We will be getting married this year, so lots of planning ahead of us! Prayers appreciated! *I do have my proposal on film however it won’t be posted until after I am married*

School

I am extremely close to graduating with a Bachelors of Science in Biblical Studies. I hope to be serving in the ministry upon graduating. My internship was with the youth ministry and I greatly enjoyed serving in this area. I just need to finish my last class called, “Pastoral Ethics.”. This should be completed within a month.

New Blog

I have been asked to be a part of a blogging team on a new website. It is up and running. The blog web site is We Are Imago Dei. Please click the link for more information about the website. The website consists of three bloggers right now and there may be a fourth contributor coming soon. The bloggers do have different perspectives on a few issues but we all agree on the essentials of the faith.

This blog, AgapeTheologian, will remain active but I see most of my theological blogging done at We Are Imago Dei and you may enjoy the other contributors as well.

Now that sounds like a really rad blog! Whoever started that must be AWESOME. All kidding aside, Congratulations on the engagement! I can’t believe you’re gettin’ hitched! You’ll have to write some marriage posts… PG rated, of course. We may have childrens on the site…

Congrats!!! Is Pastoral Ethics a required course? I never had to take that.

I had to quit my pursuit of 52 books in a year (3 kids under 3 and full time work with school on top of that makes that a wee bit difficult), so I’m thinking I might start a new one in the future with another emphasis.
